I'm still of the opinion that User Pitcher Stamina is too low - even with these settings I had Livan Hernandez (Stamina 99) at about 50% in the 4th or 5th in a game where he didnt allow particularly many walks or hits

Don't put too much stock in the stamina %'s! That's a big no-no, as the %'s don't really equate with a pitcher not doing well. If you had the User sliders at +50 (in your favor) then a pitcher with low stamina can still pinpoint pitch.

The settings are made so you should have better control (on the pitch meter) with pitchers that go longer, but you won't have pin-point control in the latter innings (creating the feeling a pitcher is "losing his stuff.")

When you can't hit your spots with any sort of regularity or start getting hit hard, then you know it's time to make the call.

Meh, I missed changing the batting sliders somehow. My last 2 games on all-star have been great. I know this has been said before but this game + Pared's sliders = pure bliss. Keep up the great work guys.

Just had my best gm ever with this new set!! Down 8-4 going into bottom of the 9th I rallied and won with a walkoff blast to win 9-8!! Great job pared!

Do you max out the meter all the time? I find only maxing it out when I really need to helps with stamina.

Do you max out the meter all the time? I find only maxing it out when I really need to helps with stamina.

I had been wondering about turning the pitching cursor off... do all of you leave the vibration on to kind of "tell" you where the edge of the strike zone is? I could not figure out how in the heck people could turn the pitching cursor off and still pitch well..

Turn everything off or you'll never walk anyone. The only thing I have set to fade is the hot/cold zone. Everythign else is off (including vibration).

It'll be hard the first few games, but you'll definately get a feel for the strikezone after that. It's very rewarding that way IMO.

I disagree with this. I have the vibrate on to help me with walks. I had Brett Myers walk 6 in a game with me pitching. You simply need something to help throw balls so you don't serve up a smorgasbork for the CPU hitters.

Nearly every pitch I throw is vibrating.

I still just blow at hitting. Would bumping up the user contact and power help me out some more and be the only things I should need to fiddle with? Other than this everything else is perfect.
