I can't find any info anywhere else on the internet, but this would explain a few things.
Primarily that Palmiero's power numbers jumped the year Jose Canseco joined the Texas Rangers. Coincidence? I doubt it...

Baltimore Sun is saying they heard a "major star" for the Orioles will be suspended for testing positive for steroids. This is huge news if it is Palmeiro.Comment
