Thats exactly right. The main benefit to steroids is it allows muscles to heal faster. Thats how it makes you stronger. You can push your body more than the average person. So a person on steroids in theory, will have less lingering injuries and soreness. Which i'm sure would improve their focus.

Jeter and Piazza? What are you guys smokin'
Piazza hasn't been hitting anything for a few years and Jeter is not belting out any homeruns.
It has to be a power hitter or power pitcher. I am going to go with A-Rod and Clemens. Kay would not say "break your heart" for a Mets player. He is as big a Yankee homer as there is, one is definitely a Yankee. Sheffield would not be a shock considering hit did it with Bonds "unknowingly" (Yeah rite). Maybe it is Giambi again?
One person I thought of that would break my heart, would be David Wright. But he isn't even close to the HOF yet.Comment

Re: Wow Mike Kay from espn said that mlb will release 2 huge names
People have already touched on it, but I was just thinking to myself about what a huge blow it would be to MLB if it was Jeter who tested positive. The biggest player on one of the biggest teams in the world. That would be huge.Comment

Re: Wow Mike Kay from espn said that mlb will release 2 huge names
I think we're just kidding ourselves with Jeter. He's had the same body frame since he's gotten into the league, for what I remember correctly I just think there's no way.
It seriously could be both Schilling and Clemens, if the criteria holds true.Comment

I don't think it's Jeter at all...but i didn't expect Sanchez and Franklin either...
just wanted to point out how I think that's probably the worst, or one of the worst, players for it to happen to (I think Clemens would hurt, because his glowing history would be questioned)Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Neither one looks like a juicer or puts up numbers like a juicer but both tested positive for steroids. It could be anyone. We'll just have to wait and see.
Even look at Raffy. He's had the same body frame throughout his career. The steroid he took didn't provide muscle mass, but provided quick recovery for tired muscles, improved reflexes and a mental edge (among other things).
The players don't have to be muscle bound or power pitchers or power hitters to be 'roided. Maybe it's another guy like Raffy? Someone looking for the mental edge or quicker reflexes....Comment

Performance has almost nothing to do with who's on steroids.Comment
