I dont fall into either catagory, and I want them to celebrate it. Steroids or not, it's a freakin' major accomplishment.

Alliball....never mention the 1997 NLCS again. Please I'd probably shoot Eric Gregg if I saw him today.

And post that 1992 NLCS video ALL DAY..........

            Wow, Matrix...absolutely...i am speechless.

It was a major accomplishment when Aaron did it over so many seasons, and with such consistency, and without....whatever.

Bonds is perhaps the greatest hitter to come through since...maybe ever...but this question is FAR too big to simply be secondary.

I think Bonds would have had a great shot at alot of records without bulking up...

But, honestly, does anyone think he buffed up the "right" way?

If I bowled a 300 while standing 5 feet away from the pins... would that still be a major accomplishment?

Bad example. Hitting a baseball is the hardest thing to do in sports.

Let's keep this on topic, there is already a thread on whether or not the record-breaking homer should be celebrated. Take it over there, guys.

I play baseball so belive me I know that. But its the same principle. Your saying someone should be congratulated for doing something near impossible no matter how he accomplished it.

Therefore.... if I bowl a 300 while standing just 5 feet away... I better get a damn parade.

So you wouldn't cheer him when he wins games for you! If he tested positive. I have a hard time believing that, the bottom line for any fan is winning games! And that is true with any sports. I don't go into the year saying lets finish 4th. Wining is the most important part and Bonds gives us the best shot of that! So if Chip got busted, you wouldn't want him on your team, how about Jeff F. or A. Jones! It is always easy to say what you would do, unless it happens to your team!

And I care about winning games the way it supposed to be done. If Chipper were to test positive for an illegal performance enhancer, then his assisting in winning games would not be the way it should be done. It makes the wins tainted, and that simply doesn't cut it for me.

I mentioned a list of my favorite players earlier in this thread. As I said then, if one of them were to get caught, I'm off their bandwagon.

Maybe you expert that explain this to me. Especially you BK. How can Bonds still be so freaking Hugh and he is off steroids. All of my friend that took them lose it real fast when they stop! Just curious. When Jason G stop he looked way smaller, especially I Rod. This is the one thing I can't understand! So BK I know you have an answer, so I would really be thank for one. I am not joking I am for real! My one friend is still pretty big, but we think he is still on them!
