Re: Official Barry Bonds Thread
Wow, I think that Bonds just collected what was my favorite hit of the year to watch. He sliced a lining double down the left-field line, where the 3rd baseman wasn't.
I know that people say it's really easy to just hit it opposite field. I sometimes say the same, too. As a matter of fact, I sometimes wonder why he doesn't bunt ala Ortiz had. Anyway... as a parttime left-handed hitter (being a switch-hitter), it actually is very hard, for some reason, to hit the ball that's at or near approaching the ground opposite field. I can hit those slicing liners and the fly balls, and I have chopped it that way... but it's actually very difficult to hit it hard on the ground that way. Right-handed, it seems much easier to do it opposite field. I don't know why... something about a lefty's swing, I guess.
Anyway, it was just a cool hit to watch.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Eh?
I was just saying that it was a cool hit to watch. For some reason, much more entertaining than any of his home runs this year.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Went to the Giants game last night, saw Bonds throw out a guy trying for a double. He also got a couple walks (+OBP)Comment

"Faster."
People criticize his arm for that one throw.
Anyway, I wonder how many games he'll play in this Padres series, since they have a double-header on Saturday.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

EDIT - Bonds trainer refuses to testify to the grand jury. Not a smart move considering he already has a record.
