He just lived of Aspirin! I remember a comical with Clemens where he was punching a garbage can of rice to strengthen his arm!Comment

Take it with a grain of salt right now as I heard it on Fox Sports Radio as a rumor this afternoon. However, they did say the list will be leaked eventually so we'll see soon enough.
In fact they said when the feds were there, Grimsley CALLED his steroid supplier and ordered HGH to show them. I don't know what he was trying to show or if the feds told him to do this to implicate the seller or what..... Just reporting what I heard.Comment

Originally posted by joebooJust rumors right now, but I've heard that Grimsley listed about 40-50 players. Tejada was one of them. Many of the guys were on HGH.

Re: D-Backs Grimsley implicated in steroids probe
Originally posted by SPTOHe was probably told to do it. This could blow the lid right off of Baseball.
Possibly having Grimsely implicate his dealer and then the feds let Grimsely off with a lesser sentence. I believe Grimsley was distributing stuff so he could be trying to cover his own butt right now (I thought I heard/read that he was distributing??).
The guys I was listening to said this is bigger than Balco... This thing implicates a lot of players and a lot of good players. We've been talking about it forever - the guys on HGH know they won't get caught...they can't get caught. A urine test can't detect HGH and might never be able to due to the way HGH resides in the body. However, naming names can/will expose them.
Grimsely is no dummy. He asked for his release knowing that his teammates would never treat him the same for implicating others. He also knew other teams would be all over him. No way he'd survive that way.Comment

Re: D-Backs Grimsley implicated in steroids probe
Was listening to ESPN Radio on the way home this evening, and they were playing a clip of Dan Patrick from his show this afternoon. Apparently he has a source close to this whole thing who saw the unedited copy of the affidavit, and said that at least two of the names are not only huge, but very surprising.Comment

I sure hope not. Jeter is one of MLB's poster boys, if he gets throwin into any of this it will be a PR nightmare for baseball. Same with Pujols, Clemens, and Ortiz.Comment

Thome would be one guy I think but he seems like a good guy so idk. I really hope Giambi isn't one guy because he has said he would never even think about using them again given his past medical history and it would be nice to believe that he is still sucessful with hard work. Sheff on the other hand I could careless, although is would be nice to believe my team is now clean.Yankees
