    Deadspin.com: Pujols using HGH?

Like those that reported this connection, I hope it isn't true.

    Re: Deadspin.com: Pujols using HGH?

This is covered in the Grimsley thread, but I guess we can leave this open too.

Huge bombshell for MLB if this is true. It says a lot about how I feel about the game and Bud Selig's caretaking of it that I would not at all be surprised if it were. Pujols has apparently passed all three MLB-mandated drug tests that he's taken this year, but only a real idiot can't beat MLB's lame testing if they want to.

Like I said, I wouldn't be surprised. I remember reading an article not too long ago in which a writer talked about us being in the "post-steroid" age right now. Yeah, right. If people think this stuff is truly out of the game, they've got another thing coming.

Sad, if true. Just when baseball had started to regain it's credibility with me, it's going straight back down the ****ter.

I bet more money on him being around 30 years old over HGH. But that's just me.

              Re: Deadspin.com: Pujols using HGH?

As I said in the other thread, I would be very sad and disappointed if this is true. If he's using HGH that could be a cause of his injury as well because he's so built from the waist up. Those kind of injuries only occur through rigorous weight training or something like HGH in the system.

I'm telling you if baseball is unscathed by this then nothing will tarnish the sport.

If true this would be really bad. Baseball has sunk to a new low on my interest meter.

HGH could also be the cause of his receding hairline. And he's only 25. I know steroids definitely causes hair-loss.

                    Actually, yes.

This is why many speculate Barry was on it.

So does genes. Millions of men have early male pattern baldness... let's not start speculating.... please, let this not be true.

If another player ever comes forward to back up this real Liar/Cheat in Grimsly I still wouldnt believe any of what confirmed junkies ratting there asses off to save themselves or just ruin as many careers on the way out the door have to say about the best hitter in baseball.

uh ok. I'm just throwing that out there. Never did I say because he's losing his har at an early age, makes it a fact that he took HGH.

                              This is getting old.

                              I can see it now:

A player hits a homerun. As he rounds first his coach hands him a cup to urinate in. As he rounds second, he hands that cup to the umpire who proceeds to take a sample of his hair. As he gets to third he pauses a second so that his third base coach can draw blood from him. As he gets to homeplate he must wait appx. 5 minutes before crossing so that they can get the test results back. If he is clean he gets to cross homeplate and be credited with a homerun.

I guess this is what everyone is wanting because as soon as someone does something good, the immediate reaction is, well he must be doing something illegal.

Look I don't know one way or another whether or not Pujols is taking HGH. But to start accusing him because he is going bald, well that is just nuts. I am 27 and losing my hair. And I haven't even smoked a cigarette much less taking steroids or HGH.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(
