Like those that reported this connection, I hope it isn't true.
I'm sorry, but I doubt he's using anything, it's just a shame now that any who hits HR's is going to be acused of using Roids, said but true...I think Albert is clean.

This would be a crushing blow to the MLB if true.

I hope not, because I really like Pujols.

I wouldn't put it past any basbeall player. BTW, for all those saying to stop making it sound like it's true because it's just allegations, what did you say when similar allegations came against Bonds? Obviously Bonds being an *** didn't help his case but it can still happen to the "good" guys. See: Rafael Palmiero.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is true. Just because he has a good personality doesn't mean he's not a cheater.

Well, I was responding to anyone who thought or suggested that he is on HGH because he is losing his hair.

The reason is that just because a male is losing his hair at a young age doesn't point directly to the idea that he is on HGH.

Pujols is the same size today as he was when he first entered the league. He is stocky. His figure hasn't changed all that much, and just because his hairline is shrinking doesn't mean that he is on HGH or steroids.

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Mihlfeld has stated that Grimsley and his attorney both said he was not mentioned in the affidavit.

True, but you never know what he did take when he was younger. I know HGH is real big with athletes, so I hope he didn't take them.

                        Did you read the article?

Does Mihlfeld’s name sound familiar? If it doesn’t, he — and we assure you, this gives us no pleasure to write this — has been Albert Pujols’ personal trainer since before Pujols was drafted by the Cardinals in the 13th round of the 1999 draft.
It's quite possible that Pujols was using this stuff before he was drafted. I wouldn't put it past a young guy trying to make it to the pros. You know, kids do some crazy things when they want something badly.

I never said that he didn't take them. All I said was that just because an athlete is losing his hair should make us automatically assume that he is on steroids or HGH.

Michael Jordan was bald for most of his basketball career and was the best basketball player to ever play the game in most peoples opinion, so should I assume that he took steroids or HGH?

I haven't seen any pictures, at least that I can recall, of Pujols when he was a minor leaguer.

I guess here's the best pic comparison:

His weight has seemed to have stayed the same, at least according to his bio.

The fact is... if he did indeed take HGH, he could have been taking them well before starting with the Redbirds, let alone the Cardinals. I made this "assumption" up some time ago, just for people to get it in their heads... because it is always possible.
