Re: Deadspin.com: Pujols using HGH?
I wouldn't put it past any basbeall player. BTW, for all those saying to stop making it sound like it's true because it's just allegations, what did you say when similar allegations came against Bonds? Obviously Bonds being an *** didn't help his case but it can still happen to the "good" guys. See: Rafael Palmiero.Comment

I wouldn't be surprised if this is true. Just because he has a good personality doesn't mean he's not a cheater.Comment

Well, I was responding to anyone who thought or suggested that he is on HGH because he is losing his hair.Originally posted by VinceI believe you were referring to me when talking about how it's ludicrous to suggest that HGH might have something to do with Pujols going bald.
The reason is that just because a male is losing his hair at a young age doesn't point directly to the idea that he is on HGH.
Pujols is the same size today as he was when he first entered the league. He is stocky. His figure hasn't changed all that much, and just because his hairline is shrinking doesn't mean that he is on HGH or steroids.

True, but you never know what he did take when he was younger. I know HGH is real big with athletes, so I hope he didn't take them.Comment

Did you read the article?
It's quite possible that Pujols was using this stuff before he was drafted. I wouldn't put it past a young guy trying to make it to the pros. You know, kids do some crazy things when they want something badly.Does Mihlfeld’s name sound familiar? If it doesn’t, he — and we assure you, this gives us no pleasure to write this — has been Albert Pujols’ personal trainer since before Pujols was drafted by the Cardinals in the 13th round of the 1999 draft.Originally posted by billmaticRadman is more like the ******** homeless man's version of Okur.Comment

I never said that he didn't take them. All I said was that just because an athlete is losing his hair should make us automatically assume that he is on steroids or HGH.Originally posted by ScottdTrue, but you never know what he did take when he was younger. Michael Jordan was bald for most of his basketball career and was the best basketball player to ever play the game in most peoples opinion, so should I assume that he took steroids or HGH?I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Again, I never said that he didn't take them at some point. All I said was that you can't say that he's taking steroids or HGH because he is going bald. And all I stated was that he is the same size and shape today as he was the day he broke into the big leagues.Originally posted by Macar91Did you read the article?

I haven't seen any pictures, at least that I can recall, of Pujols when he was a minor leaguer.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

His weight has seemed to have stayed the same, at least according to his bio.
The fact is... if he did indeed take HGH, he could have been taking them well before starting with the Redbirds, let alone the Cardinals. I made this "assumption" up some time ago, just for people to get it in their heads... because it is always possible.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
