Yeah, there you have it. iN Demand matches the offer and MLB says they're not even close. MLB isn't going to let anyone match the offer, despite the facade they are trying to put out.

Hate to dig up such an old thread but I figured it was better then duplicating it. If anyone had MLB Extra Innings last year through Directv, do you remember what the pricing structure was on it? I assume its similar to Sunday Ticket where they charge you multiple times over a few months span but I cant seem to find out the price for it since its too early according to Directv.

I think it was $180 for the season. A few years back it was $150. You can either pay the entire thing up front, or you can have them split it over 6 months of bills. At least that is how it works with cable.

Sounds pretty reasonable then, 30.00 a month for 6 months isnt bad to see all my Dodger games this year. Did anyone take advantage of the Super Fan add-on? It doesnt seem worth it if its only going to get you up to 10 games in HD a week, unless of course the price is right.

I got Direct TV just for this, and NFL Sunday Ticket.

Last year it was on cable as well though...has that changed for this year?

Getting Dodger games (and Scully) is worth the price alone! When I had Directv, they billed a certain amount each month. I tried to pay the whole thing off early but I when I did I carried a credit on my account and it eventually caught up. I don't know if they changed anything. This season no Direct Tv so I'm going to try mlbtv.

I'm glad all the Braves games are shown through my cable company otherwise I'd be mad. I tried the MLB.tv a couple years ago and just couldn't get into watching the games on my computer.

As far as I know, yes. I think you can get MLB Extra Innings on Direct TV, not cable or Dish.

Hmm...I just went out on the net and did some research on this. It seems that the deal they struck last year allows Cable providers to carry it this year and beyond. Am I missing something?

It's still on cable. The cable companies went in on the deal last year.

MLB Extra Innings is awesome, it's my favorite package, I had all 3 of the sports packages, and I love how on directv you get the pregame/postgame reports on the sports channels. I absoulutely love the sports pack. It's a must buy. It is not available to order 180 or 4 payments of 44.45 and superfan is 50 not back or 12 something for 4 payments.

Still on cable. My wife was about to blow a gasket last year with the threat of EI being only on DTV. (Phillies fan)

And yes Vin Scully is the man, listening to him brings back memories of watching the old national games on NBC.. he's still one of the best.
