I had to pitch in the cold yesterday. We were at Cincinnati and it was about 27 degrees outside with a wind chill in the teens. We also had some flurries throughout the game. I couldn't feel my hand, it was horrible.

I just want to say one more thing before I let this thing go and pretend it never happened, because I feel that the people of this message board might have a negative view of me all because of this confusing, unfortunate misunderstanding.

Let me just try and explain why I was getting "so upset". I came into this thread to see every Indian fan and every other baseball fan alike quite literally attacking the integrity of my favorite team, the Mariners. In an attempt to defend the M's by explaining that it was STUPID to attack them based on BAD WEATHER, I only received a countless barrage of even more insults and attacks. I tried to defend myself, and at every turn was asked "why are you so upset"? -- because I'm being attacked, for pete sake! Nobody in charge of these forums seems to care about that, so instead they either ignored it or tried to make me look like a fool. Instead of ending the barrage of attacks, people just attempted to make me look like I was out of my mind, taking things "too far", and that I didn't know what I was talking about.

If, after reading all that, you still can't understand my frustration, then I don't know what to tell you.

I'm sorry if I upset anyone, and I'm VERY sorry that I detracted away from the original point of this thread; However, I wouldn't have said a thing if people hadn't been attacking the M's for the bad weather in Cleveland.

I'm sorry, I'm sorry, a thousand times, I'm sorry. I really didn't intend for things to go this far, I really didn't intend to get so upset, and I really didn't intend for anyone to start attacking me -- for whatever reason they did -- and retaliate, which I now realize was probably unwarranted and definitely didn't help anything. So, for the last time on the subject, I apologize, and I hope we can just put this behind us.

Please don't think any less of me just because this particular situation upset me. I've been a proud member of this message board for years, and I hope to continue being a member of these great boards -- I just don't take kindly to people attacking my integrity or the integrity of my team, and then wondering why anyone would get upset about that. I've never done anything like this before, nor have I ever gotten this upset about anything on these forums, so I'm really hoping you won't let this affect the way you look at me. The last thing I want is to continue posting here and trying to be a valued member of these forums only to have people discredit everything I post simply because of this experience. I hope now people understand where I was coming from, and that I'm not just some weirdo or moron.

As for the actual topic of this thread, I have to say that this really sucks. Making up these games is probably going to be very difficult for both teams.

look i watch the mariners because since i live in alaska its basically the only baseball team i get to see. i have even gone to safeco to see the mariners i dont dislike them but what hargrove did was CHEAP. I didnt like him when he managed the tribe any other manager would have won at least 1 world series with the talent he had at his disposal hes a poor excuse for a manager.

I read they're trying to get their series against the Angels moved to SoCal too, so it looks like the weather isn't expected to change for a while there.
