Well, it should be interesting to see how they handle the ticket situation there. Of course this will be the first time the Indians have played a home game in Milwaukee since the movie Major League, which was filmed in County Stadium

Re: Snow at game in Cleveland!! CRAZY

Did anyone listen to Mike&Mike in the Morning?. Mike Greenberg went off a tangent about how stupid it is to try to play games in cold weather cities this early in the season and brought up the Devil Rays/Yankees opening series which lost a game to the cold weather. He read a letter from one of the heads of the MLB scheduling department and in the letter the lady said that the Devil Rays requested to open the season on the road, he then went to say that he requests the Devil Rays spend more than $24 million on payroll and he requests that they buy some major league players and since they won't honor those requests why should the league honor theirs and let a team that opens in a dome open up on the road.

This is probably the dumbest MLB has looked with anything not related to steroids in a while. You can't predict the weather but you can try and avoid it.
There is no reason why the Devil Rays, Marlins, Dodgers, Padres, A's. Rangers and even the Blue Jays (who play in a dome) should have opened on the road, worse than that the Rangers opened in Anaheim, the A's in Seattle, the Padres in San Francisco and the Dodgers, a worm weather team, opens up in a dome (Milwaukee). Stupid.

I said in a previous post, Baseball needs to do away with the unbalanced schedule and return to a normal even amount of games between all the teams. That way if something like this happens they can make up the games on the teams next visit.

In case anyone was wondering, the Indians and Mariners have 5 days off together this season (Apr 16, 30. May 14, 21. June 11) so either they play two double headers or the Mariners are going to be spending a lot of mondays in Cleveland this year.

Tickets will be $10 and parking will be $8 for the Indians v. Angles but there will only be a limited amount of tix available so I guess there will be a lot of empty seats since they dont plan on filling up the park. It's a good deal though, I think I will try going.
