this is why I hope he hits HR's until he decides to retire with knowing that he pisses off 97% of baseball fans. Hoping for a guy to get injured just so he doesn't break a record is sad.

As much as I hate to say it if he comes back next year it will be with the Yankees they will give him more cash than anyone else.

If Barry plays for another year... there's no doubt in my mind he'll get to 800.

Like him or not, he's the best power hitter of this generation, with or without steroids.

This is the reason I like Barry Bonds, and for that matter Kobe Bryant.

Everyone else despises them, bashes them, wishes injury upon them, etc.

I hope he hits 800+ and gets 3,000 hits just to piss everybody off.

People need to get off Bonds already. If he was using steroids, he isn't using them now and as a matter fact, he's playing as well as he could've back then. Why don't we all jump on Sosa too since he's playing better.

He's the only true offensive force for the Giants and he's carrying his team.

I don't like Bonds. If he takes the home run record... I feel it will tarnish Hank Aaron. A splendid man should not have to lose a record to an *******. I'm sorry, that's the way I feel about all this.

I don't care what you say, the hardest thing in sports is to hit a baseball. It's not like if he did not take steroids (if he ever did) he wouldn't be hitting these home runs. You still have to hit the ball, and Barry is hands down an all-time great.
