Robin Yount is in the Hall of Fame. Perhaps you should find a more demeaning comparison.

But explain how Jeter is overrated despite averaging a .320 BA, with 200 hits, 100 runs scored, and 25 SBs, per season.

Statisically, an argument can't be made against Jeter.

The first link is more recent and has more pitchers

The second link shows an older list of players from 2005 where 17 out of 38 are pitchers.

Fact is, pitchers abuse steroids just as often as hitters.

People love to compare the way Bonds looks now to his younger days. Well look at Clemens too:

I have always thought Clemens was on something.

Who's being demeaning? Yount was a great player and is in the Hall, Jeter's a great player who is headed for the Hall. The point being that Yount didn't have the fans and media on their knees 24/7 making him out to be some god among mere mortals. Jeter can't possibly perform up to the ridiculous standard that perception has created for him. He would literally have to hit .400, with 50 homers, 50 steals, and be Ozzie Smith at short. Maybe we've just got different definitions of the word overrated.

....or maybe your listening to a completely different media than me. Who is proclaiming Jeter as the GOAT?

He does not hit at all with runs on base and does not hustle at all.
He is always over 40 hrs ever year but does not ever drive in 100.
So basically Adam Dunn is overrated because his teammates dont get on base enough in front of him? How can he be faulted for that? RBIs are inherently a very very poor measure of offensice ability but your arguement makes the case FOR Dunn - 40 HRs in a season demostrates a lot of offensive ability and if you can do it three years in a row....

also from 2004-06 Dunn OBP'd .412 with runners on and .434 with RISP.
