I'm going out on a limb (not much of a limb) and predicting that Terry Ryan does absolutely nothing to address the Twins need for a bat (any bat, even an average bat would help).

I think that the Diamondbacks will trade Eric "Kooky" Byrnes for some prospects at best because he's a free agent next year. He's their most solid player and will instantly help out anyone who's lucky to land him.

I believe it's the end of this month (July 31st) for the non-waiver trade deadline.. after that, any trades attempted, the player(s) have to clear waivers for it to go through..

Seattle is in the market for a SP, but with the premium put on pitching these days, I wouldn't be shocked if they stand pat.

Agreed. They don't have much to offer up either. Balentien and Clement are about the only bats worthwhile that aren't untouchable. And there really isn't a SP worth the demand they're going to command.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Giants deal Morris or Durham
