    Re: Who else hates Baseball??

Just so Auburn won't have to pee alone into the wind, I'll chime in. I like baseball during the word series a lot and I can watch an entire game and get excited, but as a Cubs fan I get bored very easily with baseball. It is slow and they don't seem to care.

The only time other than the play-offs that I got really pumped was when Macguire and Sosa were having that homerun battle back in '98, boy that was something to see. Oh when I was younger back in about '87 or '88 that's when I became a Cubs fan I would be home during the summer turn on WGN and watch my Cubbies win games. Yes back then the Cubs actually used to win games and even make the playoffs. I loved watching Rhino Sandberg and Andre Dawson and Shawn Dunston and the gang. But as the Cubs started to fall apart I became less and less interested in baseball.

I feel pretty much the same about the NBA, I love the playoffs and championship but the problem with seasons that have 50 plus games is that it takes away the importance of the regular season other than standings. But basically all you have to do is the make the playoffs to make a run.

I feel the same about the NFL, teams like the Titans seem to play like crap all year, but they still manage to get in the playoffs and do some things. To me nothing can touch college football except for maybe March Madness but I'm dissappointed in this college basketball season cause no one team really stands out as the best.
