Re: High Heat Sightings and First Impressions here...

    BD,

    I scheduled myself off today.

Clay - GAMESTOP man, EB is for losers.

The minor leagues are completely made up names, but you can edit them and they have full rosters for A,AA,AAA. Plus you can set their lineups and rotations, so that seems pretty in depth. Don't know how well it will sim, but on the surface it looks impressive.

I noticed the same slide Steve mentioned on a pickoff play at first it was pretty cool, the gameplay is HH gameplay and possibly tweaked some, I noticed more foul balls and even foul balls that went straight back. There is also a slider for foul balls.

I struck out 10 with Kerry Wood in 6 innings but he let up 3 runs I ended up beating the Astros 6-3 striking out 8 times and hitting one Home run. This is on All-Star with default settings, the last two years I played on MVP so i just want to see what the game is about first.

    Blaise,

The schedules look accurate. Rosters look pretty good, except I noticed Bartolo Colon was not on the White Sox.

Hit me with some more questions I will be around all day.

This minor league stuff is spectacular. Does it keep standings and stats for the entire year for all three minor leagues??

Oh man, first game of my Franchise and Sammy gets hit in the ankle by Glavine and it says he is out with a concussion. Pretty funny and somewhat annoying.

          Glavine's changeup is nasty.

The HH changeup has always been a killer.

                  Clay,

                  EB all the way man!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, you can set the acutal lineups and rotations for the minors, thats pretty cool. (Ive never owned a PC HH, so i dont know if thats a carry over from the PC version)

Well, obviously the rosters are as of last month sometime, but thats not a big deal, for me at least.

Ok, so here goes, when your playing with the pitcher view, how fast is the turnover to the regular fielding view?

Also, Can you set the Pitchers view to when only you are pitching??

Does the game let you modify pitch speeds?

LOL! That actually sounds kind of funny... high heat and changeup are oxymorons ;-)

I know what you mean though. I've been caught on one too many changeups. The sinker can be kind of nasty too since it's movement is opposite what we see with curveballs and sliders.

Can someone give me an indication of what the Indians roster looks like? Or at least, do they have players that may have been September call-ups last year?
