this is the kind of franchise mode i would love to see implimented into a console game like WSB or MVP.. If companies would consider this for their franchise mode, they would make a killing in sales... I don't think it will be much longer before they realize this either.

yeah PC only. I'm really debating on buying this and 1 graphics game for the console, or get maybe 2 for the console. I love OOTP4 so much, and seeing some of the features and challenges added in v5 has me

I know these types of questions are better asked at the OOTP boards, but it's so busy over there, and my questions usually get lost. Has anyone had any performance problems running this game. My machine is an 800Mhz Duron, with 256mb. The game is slow, but still acceptable - i pretty much expected it with my system. BUT, i'm getting a really wierd Win98 blue screen - saying it can't write to drive E: (where i have it installed). That pretty much locks up my machine. Has anyone else seen anything like this?

ok, my big question is, you can start a franchise in any year using the database thing, but when it comes the next year can you or is there available a way to import the following years would be rookies?

Wondering if I even made any sense.

If you are asking if the following year's players are rookies.

I'm pretty sure that's a yes.

OOTP is pretty flexible you can either have season simulations where you just replay a season or complete historical franchises where say you start in 1945 and then a franchise mode through whenever you get tired.
