Re: MVP 2003 Review IGN Xbox

Is it possilbe that they didn't review from a 100% version? Either that, or maybe the reviewer was just doing something wrong? I mean, those things he complained about seemed so basic that how could they even consider releasing the game as-is. If they are as bad as the reviewer says they are, then they are HUGE game-killing bugs. It just sounds a little suspect to me. I guess i'll wait to hear some user reviews first before making my final decision.

I don't think there is any way for EA sports to release a game that a player dived every time he caught the ball. Even EA sports knows that will turn off gamers.

What I suspect happening is yes it probably does it but to the extent IGN made it sound is silly.

      Skyboxer,
Stop being so sensible you know that we ban people for logical posts.

I kid I kid, 100% agree I can live with it if it's fun and doesn't happen every game. Or is an animation problem not a gameplay problem.

I'm pretty excite for both games.

i dont understand how they give mvp the same gameplay score as world series if it is soooooo buggy? anyone else find this odd..
If the cpu dives and fail to make tags, wouldnt this seriously hinder the gameplay? well it doesnt seem so considering gameplay got a 9.0
You can put it on the BOARDDD!!!!

Thanks for reviewing a game you haven't played. It sounds like a fun thing to do....let me try.

Halo 2 is a big disappointment. The game predicted by many to be the sure fire "game of the year" does not live up to the hype. My overall score for Halo 2 is a 8.2. I feel that I don't have to play the game to give it a score because....well...quite frankly that seems to be the cool thing to do nowadays. I can tell you, though, that you use the joystick to move around and the buttons to perform actions. Please check back later for a more in-depth review when the game is released.

I think this review is bogus, How can you rate a 9 for gameplay and say that there is the dive/fielding bug. If this was the case I would give it an 8 or 7.5. I think he reviewed the beta version of the game because if they're that stupid to release a game with this flaw then they really have a problem. I will be my own judge and play the game myself and decide to keep or not to keep. IGN is kinda bull anyway, charging to read reviews.

Now, I have not seen the game personally, but a 8.0 for graphics? That seems suspect to me. They seem much better than an 8.0. Which is good but not that good.
