This is not hh, the timed hitting in wsb is crap! It doesnt matter when you swing or if the pitch is inside or outside. hh was meant to play with timed hitting and wsb was meant to use a cursor. you should really try using the cursor, it might take awhile to get used to it but it is well worth it! I too use to play hh but now i am a wsb man, and it took me awhile to get used to it.ND Season Ticket Holder since '72.Comment

That's an interesting problem you're having. Although this may not make sense to you right away, I would lower the CPU BE(S) to 60. It seems that they swing at strikes way too much. Now, this might result in more K's by Johnson, but you are playing the Orioles. In addition, I would try to raise the CPU BE(B) to 90 because that would help CPU get more walks and hopefully less Ks since they won't be swinging at too many balls.
CPU BA at 15 seems too low, but if you're content there then what can I say. Try those other settings out first because they might alleviate the problem, and please tell us how they worked out.

WSBfanatic,
I agree that CPU AVG of 15 seems to low, but they're still getting too many hits against me. I'll try your idae of lowering the CPU BA strikes to 60. Maybe that will let me raise the CPU AVG to a more manly level. My only desire right now is to get more balls in play that aren't hits. What kind of results are you getting with non-strikeout pitchers?
Thanks,

Re: I think I got it. New and improved sliders!!!
Just got done playing a game with XCell's sliders off of his site. Here are the results:
Cin 6 13 0
LA 1 9 2
Player of the game: Boone 3-4 2RBI 2SB
WP: Graves 7IP 8H 1R 1ER 1BB(intentional) 4K
LP: Nomo 5IP 7H 4R 4ER 0BB 3K
HR: Branyan, Larkin
LA Pitching-116 pitches/82 strikes 0BB 7K
CIN pitching-87 pitches/62 strikes 1BB 5K
Stolen Bases Cin 2/6
Notes: I had two hard hit grounders that the 1st baseman dove and snagged and I beat the pitcher who was covering the bag to first both times and the hits were ruled errors
I also bought a High Def pack for the Xbox and hooked it up to get Dolby Digital sound and hooked the video up to the component video on my big screen and all I can say is DAMN! I could hear all kind of background sounds I didn't hear before and the game looks better than any sports game I have ever played! Also picked up the Action Replay for Xbox, so if anyone has a list of ALL of the roster changes that need to be made, I will work on a roster save! If not, I am sure someone will have a roster update soon for download with the AR!
