Well, I played another game as the away team, and when I got to the second inning I was still batting in behind the batter mode. There is definately some correlation between being the home team and having this happen. I just wish I knew what I did to cause this. I didn't make any changes from the previous time I played to the time where this first happened so I really have no clue. Hopefully FatPitcher or someone else can shed some light on this, but until they do I will keep you guys updated.

BTW, everything seems to be fully integrated in this mode, all the options work properly(ie. pitch preview, strike zone/no strike zone, etc...) And I haven't noticed any glitches while batting this way either. I'm just amazed that they decided to leave this out.

Dunno how you got that to happen. Maybe if you set your control to one team before the game starts, turn cpu pitcher cam on, then go back and move your controller to the other team. Or something.

And to comment on this batting method being too hard, I actually think that it can become just as natural as the other batting mode once you get used to the fact that the ball is moving away from you instead of towards you. They really should have included this mode from the get go as I find it to add a little more "realism" to the game.

I dont get it, all you did is play as the home team ?? I have played a bunch of Exhibition games as the home team and this has never happened, is there anything else you did ?

This happen to me too!!! I really don't like it but it happened. I noticed it the first day I had the game and thought nothing of it then, I read FP's post that said it was not available and I thought he must be talking about something else. Well I guess he wasn't. As you know in your options screen if you hit (I think) X it allows you to change which teams options your changing. There I would switch the opposing teams option of what view to pitch out of. I will have to test this tonight because I never thought anything of it before so when it happened I thought it was part of the game. I have yet to try to switch to it after I've been in a behind the batter view.
