This happen to me too!!! I really don't like it but it happened. I noticed it the first day I had the game and thought nothing of it then, I read FP's post that said it was not available and I thought he must be talking about something else. Well I guess he wasn't. As you know in your options screen if you hit (I think) X it allows you to change which teams options your changing. There I would switch the opposing teams option of what view to pitch out of. I will have to test this tonight because I never thought anything of it before so when it happened I thought it was part of the game. I have yet to try to switch to it after I've been in a behind the batter view.

I thought the pitcher view was in PRESENTATION, not OPTIONS. I'll have to look at that.

OK, I just got home to test this and I fired up a "quick game" with the Giants and the Angels. I selected my user profile(if that means anything) and I picked the Giants. Giants are up first and after I skipped all the pregame stuff it came up in the pitcher view with me batting!! So I batted with the first two batters and paused the game and went to the presention options and switched it to the batter view and resumed the game. After a couple pitches in batter view I went back to the menu and tried to switched it back to pitcher view and it did not work!!!!! This also happened to me in Franchise mode when I would start a game it would have me batting in the pitcher view. I have always switched it back to batter view because I did not like hitting in the pitcher view but now I know it's not supposed to be there I'm going to see if I can make it work. I'm going to try to restart the game and see how long I can play like that......

No. What I meant is that this glitch only happens to me when I'm the home team, not that being the home team is what causes it to happen. Obviously something else is causing it, but it only happens when I'm the home team, and it won't happen when I'm the away team.

Well, I've played an entire game like this, and when I started the next game it was still the same. However, it still never works when I'm the away team.

Strange it works only when I'm the away team. It also works for the whole game for me too. I will do some more testing

Why in the world would you want to bat from that view? It's the pitchers view. I'd think it'd be insanely tough to hit from that view. I think most of you guys want to hit from that view because you can't. The grass is always greener.....Heh heh.
