Re: NL MVP Discussion
If Howard wins, it would be arguably the worst selection in the history of MVP voting.Comment

Re: NL MVP Discussion
CC shouldn't win the Cy Young, as he didn't pitch enough in the NL to justify being the best NL pitcher. However, he should be the MVP. Without him, the Brewers are likely ten games out of the playoff picture. Not only did he win damn near every game he pitched, but he really added a spark to this team. I can't think of one player in baseball who had a greater impact on their team than CC this year.Co-Commish of the OS Vets I & II

Re: NL MVP Discussion
I'm gonna steal something from kujoking's post:
BEFORE C.C.
43-40
AFTER C.C.
47-32
They were imploding long before the stretch run. They were imploding right before the All-Star Break. CC got them back on track, and then carried them down the stretch run.Co-Commish of the OS Vets I & II

Re: NL MVP Discussion
So you really think CC positively affected the attitude of the Brewers during the games in which he didn't start in July and August? But not in September? I'm confused.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. Re: NL MVP Discussion
one reason for this is that towards the end of the year a majority of teams are either so bad that they've packed it in and are playing callups or have locked it up like chicago and doing the sameComment
