    Re: NL MVP Discussion

Pujols has gotten robbed many times, Howard should never ever get MVP Votes, and it's a shame that he's got 1 MVP Award, Pujols out played him, and made the playoffs that season. If you K around 200 times, and have a terrible average, you should never get the recognition. Howard is an Adam Dunn at most, it's just that he plays with such a solid offense, and in a hitters ball park, his numbers are overated. Pujols plays in a pitcher friendly ball park, and does more for his team, such as playing spectacular defense, and one of very few power hitters, who doesn't K much. He just does whatever it takes to win games for the team, which is what a player should do. Howard is the opposite, which shows with his terrible average and K numbers. He is going to strikeout, or roll over on a ball with the game on line, where Pujols will get it in play, and take what the pitcher gives him.

There's so many things wrong (and right, I won't homer it up) with this post, I just won't even get into it.

Whats wrong with it, you can't deny that Howard is a hit or miss type hitter, which is what makes Pujols amazing, he hits for the power, and even an average, and does things Howard can't, somethings that don't show up in the scorebook to help the Cards win games, but I mean not many players can play like Pujols, actually none probably, he's just a pure hitter, who does it all.

You did notice I said "so many things wrong (AND RIGHT WITH IT)"? Right?
