1. Find someone who can hit for power. IMO, Pat Burrell would look mighty fine as a Wahoo.

2. Find someone to play 3rd. Andy Marte is a bust.

3. Fire Eric Wedge. He's a foolio.

4. Fire Larry Dolan. Because I baseball teams cannot be run like a buisness and expect to be constantly successful.

5. Release David Dellucci. I have no earthly idea why this man still has a job as a major league baseball player.

6. Find another starter. Need someone to round out the rotation and counting on Adam Miller is like counting on Mark Prior to be a CY Young candidate.

My dream offseason for us?

1. Sign Burrell or Dunn. Whichever is cheaper.

2. Trade for Garett Atkins. (Away splits be damned!)

3. Keep Wedgie... he makes stupid decisions sometimes... but he's not HORRIBLE.

4. Dolan is Dolan... that's not going to change.

5. Dellucci... Where do I begin? I wish he was dropped the day Michaels was let go.

6. Agreed on this one. Lee, Lewis, Laffey and Carmona is a good start... but like you, I'm not expecting anything from Miller anymore.

7. Trade for Huston Street. (Street and Atkins for whoever we have to give up). It'd give us a true closer and a true 3B.

Petition MiLB and MLB to swap the San Diego Padres to be changed to a AAA-affiliate and promote Portland Beavers to be the new major league ballclub. If all else fails, contract team.

I want the Phillies to try and sign Hamels long term, look at the outfield position and try to get someone to replace Burrell. I want Hamels long term, maybe Howard long-term. No big splash free agents needed this team won the World Series, no need to spend big bucks on outside people. We need our core back and maybe we can go on another World Series next year.
