          The grand slam he hit against the jays tonight he barly got out to was a nice hit to the guy is so good to i would want him on my team for sure.

                  I would have taken Alomar but after last season and from what I've seen so far, his defense isn't the usual Alomar stuff that fans have been accustomed to...

                    I would have taken Alomar but after last season and from what I've seen so far, his defense isn't the usual Alomar stuff that fans have been accustomed to...

                              lets look at the numbers for a second here.... Alomar ever hit 39 homers, or drive in 103 runs from the leadoff spot.... don't think so.... other than the OBP, and SB's which if Soriano would walk a little more, Sori could steal as many as 80 or 90 in a season. Alomar was never the calibur player that Soriano is now, and Soriano is going to only get better, barring an injury. So cling onto a guy who is washed up, on a team that is over rated... And true i dont think Soriano will be the next Rogers Hornsby, he is defenitely up their ahead of guys like Alomar, Sandberg, and even a guy named Joe Morgan from the Big Red Machine. But most of you are too young to remember guys like that, hell I was just a kid when he was still playing..
