    Re: Giants!!!

i'm starting to question the amount of tinkering alou is doing with the lineup. yeah, cruz's bat has cooled off, but moving him down to the 7th spot is little too dramatic. what about letting the players work out of a slump?

      i was thinking that too
but damn, they finally got some risp hits last night. Nathan is getting hit hard all the sudden, that worries me a bit too.

They definitely need more timely hitting. It was weird seeing both Cruz and Alfonzo near the bottom of the lineup last night. I really hope they'll be able to work out of it soon. Also the bullpen seems to be falling apart. Anyone know the timetable for Christiansen?

christiansen is suposed to be back by june 1, along with benard, and durham
i think they're going to have to swing a trade to shore up the pen, worrell is okay at closer but they need somebody to replace what he used to do 8th inning, felix just isn't what he used to be

check out tonight's batting lineup. this is the most unimpressive first-place-team lineup i've seen in awhile. i hope the pitching can get the team through the injuries and a father's illness...
