Yeah, kick the Dodger's "beep" so we can move up in the standings.

Man, what good can you take away from today's game, other than a win? I can't stand those long drawn-out high scoring affairs (I don't mind it as much if it's one-sided for my team... hehe). I felt sorry for my parents who were at the game today.

So Feliz had 4 hits, and Torrealba hit well, but EVERYONE was hitting today. Horrible outing for Jensen. He better watch himself or they might end up bringing up Foppert, which I wouldn't mind anyway. Now the bullpen's all tired out for the Dodger series starting tomorrow.

Nathan looked good again today. He was the only bright spot in the bullpen today. It'd be nice if they can keep up all the scoring for this weekend, too. Should be a good series.

I have to say, today's game was kinda like Coors field yesterday... minus the amounts of homers, if there were a bunch at Coors.

Wow, it comes out of my mouth, then it actually happens.

The Giants put Jensen on the 15-day DL with "lower back strain" today and brought up Foppert. They said they wouldn't put him in the bullpen, only start. He's going to be a great pitcher at some point. I hope people don't jump all over him if he has a few bad starts. There's a lot of high expectations for the kid.

As for tonight's game, Nomo scares me. He always seems to pitch well up here. Hopefully Ainsworth will have a better start today. He looked real good after he settled down in that game in Milwaukee.

Nomo lost one game, I'm sure he can lose the next one... beat the Dodgers so the Padres can pass them after tomorrows, if they win.

9-1... Woo Hoo!! With all the uncertainty coming into this season, it's good to see them get out to such an awesome start.

This was Nomo's first loss ever in San Francisco, and he beat us 4 times last year... just shows how tough he's been on us. Ainsworth looked awesome tonight, very poised for a 25 year old rookie, and his first win against anyone other than the Brewers.

I have to question the way they're using Aurilia. I've seen him try a drag bunt twice now (tonight's with no one on base), and both were laid down badly. Plus he's too slow to try to get a hit out of it. Then they tried sending him home once from second or first (I don't remember exactly), and he was out by a mile. Some people look fast even if they're not, but he doesn't even LOOK fast.

I would love to see the Padres in 2nd place... Dbacks in 3rd, Rocks in 4th, and Dodgers in last.... Just my preference.

Ainsworth defintely looked good in his start and also a great play by ray Durnam

alou announced couple of days ago that alfonzo and cruz would swap their spots in the batting order. i think this is a smart move as alfonzo doesn't strike out as much as cruz and it'll give cruz chances to drive in more runs and steal bases after barry cleans them up.
