exactly. Once again, if you go back to check, I never said anything about who should start in the all-star game or Dusty Baker. You really did mix me up with "SportsMonger", whether you want to admit it or not

    Maybe so.

But explain the comment about "keeping my mother out of this" you wrote earlier.

Grow up, dude. It's only an argument. No need for hateful remarks.

The only reason I called the other guy "alcoholic" was b/c he has a bottle of Crown Royal as his avatar.

Just being funny, didn't expect some 15-year old remark as a comeback.

    Geez.

<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">I was actually talking about the finish of the game, since that's what this thread is about. But I did find the alcoholic reference funny.

I just thought I'd pipe in that comparing Andruw Jones or Corey Patterson to Willie Mays is stupid. Andruw Jones has always been somewhat of a disappointment, I couldn't count the times I've seen Bobby Cox want to strangle him. Believe it or not his putouts and steals have fallen each of the last few years and his GIDP have risen. He's having a great first half and deserves the all-star nod, though, that much is true. But quit shining his jock, he doesn't deserve it.

Corey Patterson is 23. He looks great. He's about 2/3rds the player Andruw is and could get better, but considering how undisciplined he is at the plate there's only so much better he can get.
