Come to think of it, isn't Cam the man in Tampa Bay?

    Here's a deal for you:

Jason Kendall to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays for Marlon Anderson and Toby Hall. We'll even pay 1/3 of his contract!

Can we throw in a Kevin Young at no extra charge?

Sure! As long as we don't tell him we're probably gonna release him when Simon comes off the DL. That way, he can pay the remainder of Young's deal too!

Are you making this up, or is this something that might really happen? After his horrible showing yesterday, I wouldn't mind. Considering right now without Simon we have Craig Wilson, Matt Stairs, and that Rivera guy who all can play first.

Rumor has it that Stairs has played second as well, but I'd rather not try that out.

No, I'm not making up the release of Young talk after Simon comes off the DL. KDKA-TV has a Sunday Night Sports Show at 11:30PM and they talked about it pretty regularly. Hey, why not? Carlos Rivera is gonna be a good one. They guy smacked 22 homers and drove in 80 at Altoona last year. He's not a pure power hitter per se, but he's a solid gap hitter with decent power. And, he's slick with the glove.

I'm going to start a new Pirates thread. Watch for it shortly!
