What I would like to see done is have another team relocate to New York or New Jersey. NY is big enough for 3 teams and I'm sure a team like the Expos could prosper there. But George would never let this happen because it would hurt his own bottom line. He wouldn't want to share the market with another team. I think it's what is best for baseball and would love to see that happen.

First I would like to say, everyone in baseball is overpaid. Period....the only ones that aren't are the grounds crew, and the bat boys/girls......

Actualy...almost everyone in sports is overpaid. But....

I've seen some good points being made...
On that yankees network....look at the list....EVERYTHING is sport related for New York. Someone said the CUBS have their own network....WGN...they have a real show lineup....real TV, that people that have no intrest in sports watches....Lets put Roseane or Springer on Yankee network...then I'll say it's fair.

Speaking of fairness...I think.....There shouldn't be different payrolls....every team should have the same payroll. Then it might be a little mor fair. Or....the Highest paid team can't be more than double that of the lowest paid team. Obviously there has to be a minimum payroll...but....That would definetly help.

And I forgot who said it...but It's the biggest point about the Yankees... Yankee [censored you naughty boy] always say...WE DON'T BUY OUR CHAMPTIONSHIPS...WE HAVE PEOPLE FROM OUR OWN SYSTEM...

sadly...you ARE BUYING it....NY can PAY everyone they bring up outrageous amounts so they don't leave the team. Look at my team the Cubs...They have had to give up lots of their own farm system guys, cuz they weren't playing well as a team, and couldn't afford to keep them. Lone behold they go somewhere else...get the money...and turned out to be good players....

I also think there are a few too many teams overall...but...that is a different discussion.

To close:

I DON'T HATE THE YANKEES....I don't blame them for the situation of MLB. I do however grow tired of knowing they will be in the Playoffs every year, and how much the fans/management and such bitch when they lose...To me it seems that they think...we should automatically get to skip the season, and just be GIVEN a playoff spot.
