I'd vote him in on arm alone. He was one of my favorite players to watch for a long time in the field. Him and Ichiro.

I'll say yes...although certainly not a first ballot or anything early. The HOF really lacks 3B and I think that helps him get in.

i say yes. I see him entering the HOF after 8-12 years of being in the ballot.

              Mike Piazza?
Obviously not yet because of suspected PED use.

No brainer, first ballot IMO. Best hitting catcher of all time and his defense, while not a strength, was good enough to stay at catcher a long time. Who knows if he gets linked to PED's, but right now you have to say it's a joke if he doesn't get in.

I think that hurts him. For whatever reason, voters seem to hold 3rd baseman to an incredibly high standard, and unlike positions with a million players in already, it's going to be hard to compare him to the guys in already at his position because they're all suck no brainers.

Maybe I think it depends on how what he invented is remembered.

From one Cubs fan to another, I would say no. Soriano was good back in his Yankee, Ranger, and National days. He still is a decent player but never lived up to his monster contract.
