I just don't understand these men who take such huge risk with hideous looking women. I dont know that you could pay me to poke that woman and I'm dead serious.

Alchohol can do strange things. Have I done worse? Yep, you bet. It happens sometimes. I know dudes who hogging if they are in a slump. If you think Phillips is the only one hittin that, your underestimating what a guy will do in a pinch. Most guys will tag something like that as long as there friends dont find out.
I dont remember there names but they were allot of fun....

        1. NOT on the same floor or department: This is how rumors start. She is always at your cube and people start the email rumors and that spreads like a california wildfire. From that point, your officially on the watch list. Communication in the office has to be at a minimum.

        2. Interns: Generally NOT a good idea. They dont really understand the game in the office so they tend to blab to people about what happened last night. If you go there, you better have that talk first.

        3. The crazy girl: Every office has one. Their the second most dangerous in the office. They have no problem putting you on blast, because your gonna get fired not them. They may be a firecracker in the sack but it aint worth it.

        4. The Drinker: By far the most dangerous. Stay away at all cost. The drinker will say anything at any time. The drinker has no problem telling others who she wants to sink her claws into. The drinker will also do anything at any time. The drinker grabbed my crotch at a christmas party. As much as I wanted to, I could not do it. Why? because if I did, I knew I had a date with HR about it in the morning.
Currently printing out 15 copies of this to circulate at work. My personal rule is no dating co-corkers under any circumstances, it's not worth the hassle or the inevitable drama which ensues when said relationship falls apart. I've played with fire once when I was youngster working at a bank and fire is surprisingly hot. Lesson learned.

            Comments from Deadspin readers:

            - She’s pretty hot. I like ‘em big... Bill Clinton
            - Is that a dude?
            - No amount of alcohol would even make this thing pretty.
            - Slumpbuster = Brooke Hundley.
            - Phillips is lucky he got suspended for a week. Even John Clayton is embarrassed for him.
            - Her MySpace mood is “hopeful.” ... no, it actually says “hungry”
            - A stress ball has more shape than this poor girl.
            - So that’s not Kruk’s sister then?
            - thats rosie o’donnells kid. im sure of it.
            - If Seal can pull Heidi Klum, Steve Phillips can pull something better than a 2 ... shes a lot closer to 250 than 2
            - Brooke Hundley have a twitter?
            - kung fu panda!!!
            - Do you think steve had to order her room service ALL 3 times?
            - She looks like a Lord of the Rings character
-So who plays her character in the Lifetime True Story movie next year? Jonah Hill? .... they already made this movie…it was called misery starring kathy bates.
            - Did Steve Phillips bang the Schwab’s little sister?

            How wet is your keyboard?

Well, this is just more proof that Steve Phillips has no idea how to scout talent.

Out of all the young women who work at ESPN, he had to pick the Mo Vaughn of the group.

Steve Phillips wishes this was his excuse. If it's a one-hitta quitta, then yeah, alcohol could be a reason. This cat smashed the broad on several occasions, and he started treating his jump-off like Dr. Melfi on the Sopranos, telling her all his dirt. Plus they were going back and forth at work. I think it's safe to say he wasn't sloshed out his mind at the office. No, he was still spitting game at her in his most lucid moments.

Plus, when you're in a slump,IMO, it's a one time thing. You smash and bounce. Cloak of darkness and all that. He also operates in different circles than average dudes like us. He's got a slick mouth, money, and he knows people. He should have been knocking down nothing below 7s just on GP.

If this intern didn't complain and engaged in the affair (or who knows, even instigated it) with Phillips, is this sexual harassment? Without hearing more details, I'd say no.
I have no idea. But I would think w/his past history, w/ESPN's past history, Phillips would have been told "keep it in your pants".

The girl knows Darth Vader! Darth Vader! I would hit it just to meet Darth. Also, if you are going to have an affair with a girl that is in her 20's, you might get burned. So be aware. If you break it off they will most likely tell your wife. Hell; I would say any lady no matter how old they are will tell your wife if you break it off. Lesson learn Steve. Though they do say that most affairs that men have are with women not as cute as their own wife.

I agree with Dr. He should not loss his job over this. He had an affair, but it happens. The sad thing is it might cost him his marriage and kids. They might be mad at him for awhile. Just a stupid decision on Steve's part.

If they fired Reynolds for "hugging" an assistant, Phillips is done with ESPN. Had a friend tell me he is finished until Spring Training and THEN they'll evaluate the situation(let him go)

Gone are the days of Phillips vs. Phillips and holding fake press conferences... He's done boys.

You can't have a workplace where people are knowingly sleeping with each other all the time. It is obvious this girl has issues and won't leave him alone. Do you really think they could work together again or even in the same building? You can't just fire her, you have to fire them both. There are reasons for sexual harassment rules.
