Yeah, Dr. The wife will probably always be mad at him, but kids eventually get over it. It is your dad. What are you going to do hate him your whole life. I am actually saying the kids will get over it. I don"t know about the wife.

Re: Oh Steve Phillips...
If you read through the statements of the son on the NY Post, you'll know Brooke's AIM name is RiOtGirR4Life
She's still online right now, but she's been idle since Tuesday.
Someone on here needs to contact her. Do it for OS, do it for the comedy!http://flotn.blogspot.com

Re: Oh Steve Phillips...
Especially if they're boys. My father-in-law stepped out on my mother-in-law when my wife and her siblings were pretty young. My wife was like 8 or something when that went down. It took a long time for her and her sister to get over it, especially since he stepped out with a "friend" of my mother-in-law's. I think part of it had to do with the badmouthing that my mother-in-law was probably doing, and the fact that she started getting sick after all this went down. My brother-in-law, however, processed it fairly quickly, and even had him stand as best man at his wedding.Comment

Re: Oh Steve Phillips...
- he has a history of multiple affairs
- he's telling family secrets to his mistress
- his judgment is so bad that his ex-mistress stalks the family, leading to the police being involved, mom filing for divorce, dad losing his high-profile job, and humiliation for the family on a national level
This seems to be on another level than, "Dad stepped out on Mom once or twice when we were kids; we got over it."Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. Re: Oh Steve Phillips...
I actually just thought the phrase you used was humourous, that's all. Although come to think of it, you must admit there's a better chance of SP's sons being pissed than the average affair, right? I'd be a little more hesitant to forgive dear ol' dad if:
- he has a history of multiple affairs
- he's telling family secrets to his mistress
- his judgment is so bad that his ex-mistress stalks the family, leading to the police being involved, mom filing for divorce, dad losing his high-profile job, and humiliation for the family on a national level

Steve ****ed up, but he didn't talk. You should go read his statement... it's pretty funny, talking about how he couldn't understand why she was attached to him after the type of relationship they had.
Here's his quote to the police.
"At the end of July I started to back away from her. My pulling back was met by varying degrees of disappointment and hurt; more than was appropriate based upon what the relationship was."
