To expand on that a bit usually the A squad with most of the major leaguers or guys who will probably be called up this year or next are the ones that play at home and the B squad will have a sprinkling of the current roster guys but mostly minor league kids are on the road.

Anywho, to no surprise for Blue Jays fans Shaun Marcum has been named the #1 starter. The rotation is set to be Marcum, Romero, Morrow, God, I can't spell his name i'll just use his nickname Zep and Tallet. (who's been stinking it up this spring) Tallet will most likely only be in the rotation for the first month of the year and once the 5th starter is more regular then either Brett Cecil, Dana Eveland or Dustin MaGowan (if he's healthy) will take that spot.

The Gary Matthews Jr. catch is still the best catch I have seen in my lifetime.

He had a nice outing today, and I think all of us cubs fans are hoping he will do good despite what we think now(I'm still skeptical, but I'm rooting for him to do good).

Anyone see Marlon Byrd's huge knot on the side of his head after getting hit on a pickoff attempt at first? Ouch.

Looks like Jason Frasor is going to get the closer's job which is great as I feared Cito would give it to "moonraker" Gregg who's been stinking it up all spring.

On another note, I sure hope Jose Bautista can continue this great hitting when it matters.

BTW any Red Sox fans wanna tell me how Scutaro is looking this spring?

Offensively nothing to write home about: .154 avg, 1 HR, 3 RBI's. Though he only has six hits 3 have been for xtra bases. Defensively he and Pedroia seem to be meshing well and honestly since he is likely to bat 9th his glove matters more anyway.

Ah I see, It'll be interesting to see how he does offensively at least as some feel that last year was his major outlier year.

                          Time will tell.

Peavy says he's ready after giving up 12 hits & 7 runs in 7 IP during a minor league game...ok buddy.

But the biggest story...WTF the reporter said Peavy was LEFT HANDED! Seriously man...wow!

                              Maybe it's a different Peavy?

The fact that he gave up 12 hits, 7 runs, in 7 IP in a minor league game tells me he was pitching to get as many innings in as well as being "ambushed" by the minor league hitters. Spring Training stats really never matter regarding Jake Peavy, just keep him away from the World Baseball Classic.
