Yeah, he was consistent, but Pedro and Wells shouldn't combine for NINE walks in one game...
That and a 4-3 nine inning game shouldn't take almost 4 hours to play. I thought baseball wanted to shorten games, but yet they want the strike zone to be smaller...I don't get it

Excellent game! Just like always. Anyways, I was screaming and cursing at the begining of the game by what I saw. David Wells hanging his pitch to Manny, the whole infield missing on the 1st base call, Giambi swinging at ball 3 and no strikes when the bases are loaded. All frustrating.

Glad to see Pedro on the mound, because whenever I see him I'm ambivalent. I don't want him to hurt us, but I like to see him suceed as long as it doesn't hurt my team in anyway.
Anyways, did anyone see the expression on Mariano's face when he gave up the bloop hit to Varitek in the 8th to tie the game? Same look that cost us the trophy in game 7 of the Arizona-NY WS, when Luis Gonzalez won the game of him.
" I look at him and it's getting to the point where it's just scaring me. He looks younger but he doesn't carry himself in a younger manner. He's impressive, and I'm glad we drafted him. "

I like Pedro on the mound because lately we also win when he pitches.

Yea I did, I thought Jeter should have been punched out on that 3-2 pitch that got Pedro upset. Same with a few other calls for both pitchers. At least he was consistent though

Bernie comes up big yet again!! I'm just glad the yankees won that game after all of the suspense and missed opportunities. I too was pissed about Ramirez missing first base by a mile. I thought Pedro was goin too far with his hand gestures especially this one:

But I guess I'm glad he didn't get thrown out cause umpires and refs of many sports take things too seriously. They just need to lighten up. I hope one of the Red Sox players, preferably Nomar or Manny, get plunked this afternoon after Pedro throwing behind Soriano's head after he tried to lay down a bunt and after Kim hitting Giambi (I think it was Kim). Anyways.....LETS GO YANKEEEEEES!!!

Why? Both of those were clearly unintentional.
