Seven starts and no wins for Greinke. Unbelievable.

Houston's offense is so, so unbelievably bad.

By the way, C.J. Wilson has been an effing monster in the starting rotation for Texas. I didn't expect that at all.

So I was at the cubs reds game tonight(which was awesome), and I saw something absolutely hilarious when we were leaving. On the TV's in the stadium by the restaraunts and stuff, they were playing these squirels making a cd of spoofs of real songs. "Squirels, Squirels, Squirels" is one I remember.

Then the next one was great, "I like Big Nuts". I couldn't help myself from busting out laughing, I know it wasn't meant like that, but it was absolutely hilarious.

Seeing Starlin Castro make his debut was great too. A 3 run shot in his first AB, and a 3 run triple later in the game was a great way to start off his big league career.

Jawshie Beckett nails himself down as one of the biggest douchebags in the MLB.

And continues to show he can't pitch against the Yankees. Yankees own HIM.

He hit Cano in the sixth when it was 3-1, then he hit Jeter with the bases loaded. I fail to see how those would have been on purpose or would make him a "douche".

I still don't understand where you came up with 4 hit batters....

Cano was definitely on purpose, there was a base open at 1B. Cervelli was almost hit in the head, and I know there was one other. If you can't control yourself, don't go inside.

edit: He almost hit Teix as well.

                          Aren't these a bit contradictory?

I'm not a Red Sox fan but I did watch the game tonight and I disagree with your assessment that those pitches were intentional.

I didn't think he threw at them on purpose. He looks like he completely lost his control and got hammered by the Yankees. He's not like Jeremy Guthrie.

Just glad the Yankees didn't retaliate. I hate the idea of putting guys on base to get back at the other team. Strike them out instead.

The Rangers were really high on him out of spring training. It doesn't seem like has killer velocity, but it does seem like he has a cutter and that's enough to be a quality pitcher today. I added him to my fantasy league right before he had a 9-K performance at the beginning of the season. Best move I made, and the second-best was probably adding Shaun Marcum at the same time.

Does Beckett have health or mechanics issues? He hasn't been the normal Beckett since the end of last season.
