hey chaos, how do you like Hillman so far? I remember he was a crazy hire when he was hired. I think the problems with the Royals are more Dayton Moore than payroll or Hillman, but that's just me from the distance

Jody Gerut with the first cycle of 2010, and the 6th in Brewers history. Nice job, Jody!

Even when they sucked the last few years I've enjoyed going out to PETCO, so seeing them have success early on, no matter how fleeting, is really cool
Yep, and for fantasy baseball purposes they sure haven't disappointed with the stolen base hype, which is pretty exciting on both ends of the coin with the team leading in stolen bases and snuffing out rallies with pick offs and snagging base stealers. Much of that has to do with Chris Young being injured since everyone can run on him no matter who's at the plate.

There's still not enough to convince me that they're good enough to contend for a playoff spot, but so far they're meeting my expectation that they're not as bad as a lot of people expected them to be this season.

And yes, he is/was. Just like he was hurt last year when Trey had him out there for 133 pitches. Ever since that game Meche has been terrible.

You are right when you say the problems with the Royals are mostly with DM, but Trey still does plenty of stupid things.

LOL. The Mariners have 2 starters hitting over .215 on the season.

Look at the bright side, the Royals have 4 starters with ERA's over 5.

Those are 1927 Yankees numbers compared to what's going on in Atlanta...

Our leading home run hitter is Casey Kotchman...with 3.

The only team with worse offensive stats are the Astros.

I can say this quickly while I'm in between tossing various decorative items at my TV...

THE RED SOX ARE F'N KILLIN' ME!!!

Okay I'm done...until tonight. Good Lord, what a frustrating start.

Oh...and a preemptive piss off, Brett
