What would happen with the perfect game if it did happen that way? If he gives up a walk off home-run to the 30th batter he faced after setting down the first 29, is it a perfect game still?

      Nope...ask Harvey Haddix!

Apparently 1880 is the last time 2 perfect games were thrown in the same year. If some guy who tweeted that to Adam Schefter, who then retweeted it, can be trusted.

          WHY MLB, WHY?

Today is the 2nd day in a row that there's a rain delay in the top of the 9th with the braves ahead.

John Axford is the mother freaking man. Saves games and looks suave while doing it.

You overrate Halladay. It's only a perfect game.

I'm still amazed when I think that up until 10 months ago there had been 17 perfect games in the entire history of baseball....and there have been 3 in since then.

Even crazier is that HALF of them have occurred in my lifetime.

Is it weirder that the last three have been versus Florida teams(Rays twice, and Marlins)?
Don't you EVER read my blog? It's gotten a lot better.

Mark Teahen is just a TERRIBLE 3rd Baseman. Thankfully Paul Konerko can scoop a baseball. Just TERRIBLE.

Well if the Yanks lose the Jays will be tied for 2nd in the AL East

Now comes the hard part as the Jays have to take on:

                          Rays (3 games at home)
                          Yanks (3 games at home)
                          TB (3 in TB)
                          Colorado (3 in Colorado)
                          SD (3 in SD)

This 15 game stretch is going to be make or break for the Jays and go a long way in determining if they're for real or not.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.
