                                    1-0 Braves. That should probably be an unearned run and a dumb decision by Morgan to throw to third on the sac fly. Runners on second and third with only one out.

                                    Edit: 2-0 Braves. What a pity for the Nationals to waste another outing defensively and offensively.

                                                Here's a stupid question: Why is that second run by the Braves an earned run charged against Strasburg? That would have been a double play had the error not been made (though you can't assume double play, so the runner on second would be out by fielder's choice), so that runner should not be there at all. Therefore, he should be unearned.

                                                Am I missing something here?

                                                    Because you are assuming the out at second. The guy who got on via error is the unearned run, but not the guy at 2nd.
