Yeah it's stupid...like when people chant Kobe sucks. Like yeah, obviously he doesn't suck.

I think Joel Zumaya's career may have just ended.

^^^Man, that looked absolutely terrible. At the very least it looks like a season ender.

One freak injury after another for Zumaya. Have to feel sorry for the guy at this point.

I hope it isn't a career ender, but I wouldn't be shocked after how he reacted.

At least it wasn't on the John Smiley level.

Hope for the best for Joel.

                Has some monster heat.

It was honestly the only thing I thought of when it happened.

Man, I'm going to be a Negative Ned but I'm calling it a career for him on that last pitch. If it was a UCL tear there is still the possibility of Tommy John, but I just don't see him being the same afterward anyway.

Jose Valverde had just been filthy this season. That splitter isn't even fair.

Big win for the Tigers, but losing Zumaya is a big blow.

Definitely. He's just been trotted out there to eat up innings.

I guess that's a plus though. 6-0 Rockies right now and with the way Ubaldo is pitching, I don't see the Padres coming back at all.

You can just look at the boxscore, I ain't saying nothing.

                            Ahem.

Also, I thought Ian Desmond was supposed to be a star defensively? 19 errors ain't cuttin' it, buddy.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.
