Ubaldo pitched a gem, looks to be back to his old self and the rest from the All Star break should help.
Rockies are playing some ball now, and with a good series against the Pads could be 1 game, 2 games or tied for the division lead.

I'm hoping all 3 games vs Padres sell out, deserves the playoff atmosphere.

8 IP, 3 hits, 1 ER, 2 BB, 6 SO for Jimenez (15-1). Good way to go out for his last start until ASB
Unbelievable that he has FIFTEEN wins before the All-Star break. Today was a day for pitchers. Danks wins 1-0 after taking a no-hitter into the 7th (a 1:52 game no less), Oswalt tosses a 1-hit shutout, and Ubaldo shuts down the Cards. I'm going to go check my calender and make sure it doesn't say 1968.

Jayson Werth is a prick. Werth reaches into the stands to catch a foul pop fly and a Phillies fan with his son right next to him reaches straight up and catches the foul ball. Werth proceeds to drop an F-Bomb on the guy with his kid right there. The fan didn't reach into the field of play, he stayed in the bleachers.

I love seeing the Cardinals have trouble. We have much more problems though...

HUGE series going into the All-Star break between the Braves and the Mets....could potentially push our lead from 3 to 6, or end up tied.

Hanson up tomorrow, let's go baby.

Not sure who to root for in the Tigers/Twins series that starts tonight. If the Twins can take two out of three, we could potentially coast into the All Star break while leading the division. This after being 9.5 games out on June 8th.

But if the Tigers win the series, that would set the Twins farther back, and potentially be our cushion at the end of year when the Twins come on late. Quite the conundrum here.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

But when you're in the heat of the moment a lot could be going through your head. Not saying what he did is right, just saying that you say things that you could regret later on.

3 games vs Padres. This will be a fun series . De La Rosa goes tonight which may get wild and scary for the Rockies

this is an absolute joke seriously what is the guy suppose to do if the balls coming his direction? look to see if they are going to make a play on it? and worst if he does that and theres no play he'll end up like the yankee fan who was on the phone and the ball hit him in the mouth. I think once you reach over towards the field then you have the right to be upset but if the guy is in his seat and doesn't even move then you really have no right to get upset
