Among starters with at least 50 IP this season, Stephen Strasburg leads all of MLB in K/9 (12.42) and FIP (1.89).

With all due respect to Jason Heyward, is there any doubt Strasburg should be at the forefront of the NL Rookie Of The Year race? Those are absolutely staggering numbers for any pitcher, let alone a rookie.

Typical idiot umpire in the Rays vs. Tigers game. Blows a stolen base call at second by a good margin and throws the manager out for calling him out. One of the reasons I can't stand some of these umpires.

I like that the Rays announcers haven't actually said the words "Perfect Game". I know it doesn't make a difference, but I've never liked it when announcers start talking up a perfect game from the 5th inning on.
