Can't believe we have another no hitter.

    Congrats, Garza.

He walked a batter. No offense to Garza, but a no hitter would be a little less impressive with the lineup the Tigers have out there right now.

Edit: Congrats to Garza, but like I said not the most impressive no hitter considering half the Tigers lineup is the Toledo Mud Hens. A no hitter is always impressive to an extent, but I can't say I am surprised to see it happen to the lineup the Tigers have now.

        Congrats to him.

It's about time the Rays no hit someone instead of getting no-hit.

              Ah, I see.

Congrats to Garza. The Rays definitely deserve to have one of these go their way.

No kidding. How many no hitters is that so far this year?

5, if you also include the perfect games.

This no-hitter stuff is getting out of hand.

This will probably spark a debate on whether it should be considered a perfect game if he walks someone, but faces 27 batters. Personally I consider it a perfect game.

Nah, I don't think there's any debate. Errors would be discounted long before walks ever would (and we saw earlier this season in the most dramatic fashion that that isn't changing)

Perfect is perfect, 27 up, 27 down. I don't see any other way of interpreting it.

Edit: My mistake, it was an umpire's error and not a player's one.

He didn't get every batter out. It's not a perfect game. If he gave up a single, but the runner was thrown out running to 2nd would you consider it a perfect game?

No. I just think that a perfect game should just be a no-hitter while facing the minimum number of batters.
