Cruz has the best stuff in the whole Cubs organization. He just has to get composure when he is on the mound and be able to spot the fastball. His change up is his best pitch. His slider rivals Kerry Woods'. He has all the talent to be a "ACE".

I disagree. As a fan of the Rangers, I have good reason. They had an excellent offensive team at the beginning of the year and that did absolutely squat for them. Pitching is where it's at. I think oakland has the best pitching. Four pitchers that could be aces on almost any team out there.

I am a cards fan... first off.

I think if the Cubs can win the division and get into the playoffs they have a VERY good chance to get to the series this year with that staff. I don't think anyone can argue that. the key is for them to get to post season though.

also.. note that their last 21 games of the season are against the Pirates.. Reds.. and Mets.

so if they choke.. they really choke!
