Giants are winning series, if they can figure out how to me more consistent with the runs, they would sweep more series. The pitching has been lights out!

I still think Posey should be ROTY.

I love watching the Rays. They're showing that they're right there with the Yanks, if not even a little better... with one third of the payroll too.

They're now up 8-3 on the Yanks, through 6. CC wasn't exactly on his game tonight..
          Now, more than ever

If you're gonna give it to a guy on a playoff team, it's Hamilton. If not, it's gotta be Miggy. Hell, I'd give it to Paul Konerko or Joe Mauer before Bautista.

Toss it on over to Danny Valencia and call it a day.

Ha. He was a nice surprise the second half, that's for sure.

How about we just give the MVP to Joe Nathan's ligament for proving that the closer doesn't matter as much as everyone thinks.

So as I watching some TV tonight I saw Javier Vazquez have a pretty bad meltdown. The guy basically lost it for almost the entire time he was on the mound. He's the classic case of a guy who just, for some reasons sucks in Yankee pinstripes.

It was kinda like watching a car crash in slow motion. It was THAT bad.

I'm confused...he gave up 1 hit/2 BB's in 3 innings of work. That doesn't seem like much of a meltdown.

You missed the part where he hit 3 consectutive batters, which is what SPTO is referring to.

Yep, and they weren't just typical HBPs either. A couple of them were around the shoulder/head area. It wasn't pretty at all.

Ah...gotcha. I ran to the boxscore expecting a spectacular 1/3 ip, 8 runs, 10 hits type of meltdown. I didn't even check the HBP.

Yup, I often forget to check those too. I just happened to catch a little of the highlights on baseball tonight, and like SPTO said, it was pretty ugly.

Pathetic, atleast Carlos Gonzalez will win the batting title.
