Where is BK to chime in?

I dont know, I love Giles, he's one of if not the most underrated players in the game. Now he's stuck in a hole in SD.

This is a good move for San Diego. I hope the Pirates get Nady; he'll likely play 3B. Don't know enough about Jason Bay. Hear he's pretty good and can play CF. Of course, Oliver Perez is a young stud. Although, I didn't realize Scott Boras was Perez's agent. That stinks! He's not Nady's agent, is he?

As far as Giles; the Padres have their left fielder for the next 3 years. He's a hell of a player and Pittsburgh will miss him!

Giles is probably, like Matrix said, the most underrated player in all the league. He is INSANELY talented, and can put a big hurting on the ball when he's on fire. Congrats to the Pads for getting such a good player, although I am sure most people in SD didn't want to see Perez go, but i'm sure Giles will make up for that.

Boras is both players' agent. I'm not sure about Bay. Xavier's natural position is 3B, the only reason he's playing OF for us is because we're stacked with infielders. Also, he's among league leaders in Outfield Assists (or was) with 11. Bay is a great all-around player, he can steal bases and can hit for both power and average. Perez needs time to develop, right now, he's doing great as baseball's Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde.
