    Re: Pitcher/Catcher signs

Yeah, check with your teammates. It's really different for every team. I pitched and in high school it was 1 - fastball, 2 - curve, 3 - change, 4- slider. When a guy was on second it would depend on the inning. 1st inning was the first sign after the "trigger", second inning second sign after the "trigger" etc.... The trigger was determined before each inning. Sometimes 5 fingers, sometimes 2 etc. Usually 5 unless someone caught onto it.

In college my coach liked 1 - best pitch that pitcher threw, 2 - second best pitch etc... So it really depends on what the coach/pitcher/catcher feel most comfortable with.

You can't really ask us about the team's signs, it depends on the coach/pitcher really. Every team seems to have different signals for every situation, so you'll have to ask about these.

I actually forgot to change my profile...I used to live in Naperville, but I just graduated from college and moved to Irving, Texas.

Thanks for the help guys...it's a NABA league, so we don't really have a coach as it's a mens league.
