    as the catcher, you should pick the sign designation, since you're the one that has to call them and you have to know what's coming. Work it out with the pitcher before hand though, ESPECIALLY with the triggers. In your league I doubt there'd be much sign stealing, but you never know, so watch for it and be ready to adjust.
    The universal sign to remember is this: tug your mask to indicate the old "hit the guy in the head" pitch.

            When I said "...talk to the pitcher", I just meant to make sure that you communicate with him so you are on the same page and he doesn't cross you up. A pitcher crossed me up once...I called a curveball and he threw a fastball. Caught me on the inside of my left knee, and I had a softball-sized bruise for 3 weeks!
