He has a good slider, but it's his change that is a work in progress. He is going to dominate RHB, but LHB are going to have some success off him, until he developes a better change. But his slider is a good out pitch against them.

We all get that you like Pineda, we understand that he's great prospect, but no need to comment on here every time he gets an out. It's very annoying and borderline trolling.

9 ks and 3 runs for Hanson. Are you kidding me?

Young - LF (Vince Carter of baseball, so much potential but he doesn't care)

Valencia - 3B (Haven't seen enough of him to form an opinion)
Holm - C (I've never even heard of him)
Repko - CF (Career OPS of .667)

Span's day off too = triple whammy.
And predictably through 5 innings they've equaled the season high in runs. For what it's worth they were lucky and pathetic runs.

Well, Hellickson's command has been pretty lousy all day. Plus the errors and all...

I'm just waiting for Capps or Nathan to enter the game which is the only way the Rays will mount an offense.

Dempster, what is wrong with you!

What happened to the Cubs starters, they were so good last year.. Now they can't even get a QS.

              Down 4-1 Early.

An interesting stat about Pineda is, in 430+ innings in the minors he only gave up 22 HR's, which is incredibly low for a fly ball pitcher.

Jamey Wright just did the impossible and walked Jeff Francoeur on 4 pitches. When was the last time that ever happened?

Brooks Conrad once again shows he is the most clutch player in the game.

When will the Braves offense show up this season? I guess I should be happy at 7-9 with how bad the offense has been thus far?

Fortunately the bats decided to help him out today.

Why is Alan Johnson starting? He's awful.

Also I can't wait until Castro leaves, my god he's hitting everything.

All good things must come to and end. Rays winning streak snapped at 5.

Come on guys...he isn't going to win every game for us. The guy gave us a lot of great memories last year. This loss isn't on him as much as it is on Mac for getting picked off, Fredi for calling the suicide squeeze with 2-strikes (who does that?), and leaving runners on base all game.
